Material Notes: ELASTOSIL® R 490/55 is a phenyl silicone rubber (PMVQ) and was developed for the manufacturing of articles with good low temperature flexibility.

Application: ELASTOSIL® R 490/55 is suitable both for extrusion of tubes and profiles and for compression, transfer and injection molding The vulcanizates maintain flexibility to temperatures even lower than -100 °C.
