Material Notes: Characterization: Bayfol CR 6-2 000000 is an extrusion film based on Makrolon® (PC)/ Polyester (PBT) blend.

Properties / Applications: Bayfol CR 6-2 000000 has advantages over standard polycarbonate films in terms of dynamic strength, dimensional stability and cold formability. This film, which is virtually galre-free and has excellent scratch resistance, has been developed especially for critical graphic applications and comprises a unique surface combination. Typical applications are automotive, keypads, membrane switches, hand held electronics, appliance, nameplates, touch panels and FIM - film insert molding decoration. Bayfol CR 6-2 000000 is available in various standard thicknesses from 0.005 ” to 0.012 ” (125 microns to 300 microns). Other thicknesses are available on request. The surface combination of Bayfol CR 6-2 000000 is one side fine velvet and one side very fine matte for printability. As with any product, use of Bayfol CR 6-2 000000 in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.
