Material Notes:	Description: Optibent® 987 is a carefully selected, activated layered silicate product and has been developed for dry pre-mixed mortars and emulsion based systems. In mineral binders based on gypsum or cement of higher solids content, anti-sagging is improved and smoother workability properties are achieved since the silicate layers exert a lubricating effect during application. Optibent® 987 shows a marked thixotropic thickening effect and incorporates a yield value into the system. It also shows excellent resistance in Ca²+-rich systems.
