CHT Group SMP™ EP 3001 EPI Engineered Polymers Silicone Modified Polymer
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Silicone

Material Notes: EP 3001, “Powered by Reactamine® Technology”, is a two component 100% solid polyurea based sealant. EP 3001 is a self-leveling sealant designed to protect horizontal concrete. This elastomer displays fast cure times and excellent adhesion to concrete. EP-3001 can be applied at temperatures ranging 30° F to 120°F. This elastomer displays excellent chemical resistance and water insensitivity. EP-3001 may also be used under traditional floor coatings (such as epoxies, polyureas and polyurethanes) or tiles to provide protection from cracking and sinking caused by non-elastomeric sealants.

Applications: EP 3001 was designed to protect against the abuse to concrete caused by heavy load transfers from such items as forklifts, steel-wheeled carts and trash dumpsters. Some typical uses include:

  • Concrete Water Proofing
  • Concrete Spall Repairs
  • Cold Storage Facilities
  • Merchandise Distribution Centers
  • Home Improvement Stores
  • Bridge Headers
  • Warehouse Floors
  • U.S.D.A. and F.D.A. Acceptable
  • Part of the Amber Chemical Group. Data provided by manufacturer.

Formerly Amber Chemical Co (ACC Silicones), aquired by CHT in 2017
