SYNTHOS Koplen® 1020 FR Expandable Polystyrene
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polystyrene (PS); Expanded Polystyrene (EPS)

Material Notes: Low Pentane Self-Extinguishing type Koplen®.

Processing Method: Pre-expansion of beads by water steam, hot water or hot air. Shaping into thick walled products and blocks. Lower density can be achieved after several preforming operations.

Specific Characteristics: Flammability according to CSN EN ISO 11925-2, class E and DIN 4102-B1.

Typical Application: Large volume products. Plates and cut profiles. Boards for external insulation of walls of buildings acc CSN EN 13163.
