ChevronTexaco ISO 320 Paper Machine Oil D
Categories: Fluid; Lubricant

Material Notes: Features

Chevron Paper Machine Oils D are manufactured using select high viscosity index, paraffinic base stocks. Their additive packages include rust, oxidation, and foam inhibitors as well as an effective detergent for deposit control. The oxidation products that result from high temperature operation, as well as dirt, water, and particle fines are effectively dispersed by the detergent. In addition, these oils impart mild EP characteristics to minimize wear and have excellent water separating ability (demulsibility). These oils also have excellent wet filterability with fine porosity oil filters, as demonstrated by the Pall Filterability Test.

Applications

The Chevron Paper Machine Oil D series is recommended for use in paper machine circulating systems, dryer bearings, and calender stacks. Chevron Paper Machine Oils D have had extensive field service lubricating Valmet, Beloit, and Voith Sulzer paper machine equipment.

Chevron Paper Machine Oils D ISO 150, 220, and 320 may be used as AGMA R&O Oils 4, 5, and 6, respectively, for enclosed gear drives. Chevron Paper Machine Oils D ISO 220 and 320 may also be used in plain and antifriction bearings at elevated ambient temperatures as high as 80°C (175°F).
