Borealis Bormed™ LE6600-PH LDPE

Material Notes: Bormed" LE6600-PH is a resin intended for evaluation for use in Healthcare applications. Bormed" LE6600-PH is an additive free low density polyethylene which is used to produce soft and flexible packaging for pharmaceutical products. The material can be converted via blow molding, including blow-fill-seal technology, or IBM into small bottles or ampoules. It can also be used in injection molding and blown film process. It is produced using tubular technology. The Bormed" concept is based on the three core principles of service, commitment and conformance which cover the different aspects of active information management, change control and security of supply. Because we care. As part of the Bormed" product portfolio, in case of notifiable change the grade can be made available up to 5 years (2 years pre-notification and last call volume with 3 years shelf life); subject to mutual agreement. Applications: Bormed" LE6600-PH has been evaluated according to different regulations and standards. Typical applications are mentioned below for medical and diagnostic devices or pharmaceutical packaging. However, Borealis should be consulted for final approval to evaluate the use of Bormed" LE6600-PH.
  • Blow-fill-seal pharmaceutical packaging (e.g. bottles, ampoules)
  • Flexible pharmaceutical packaging (e.g. pouches for IV/CAPD)
  • Bottles for oral/topical drug administration
