BYK Fulcat® 435 Clay Catalyst and Adsorbent

Material Notes: Fulcat® 435 is an acid activated clay catalyst and adsorbent. Acid activation of the natural clay structure develops Lewis and Brönsted acid sites and a high surface area useful in a wide range of acid catalyzed reactions. The low iron content of Fulcat® 435 provides improved specificity in some reactions, whilst the high surface area of Fulcat® 435 also delivers a product with excellent adsorption properties.
