Evonik VARISOFT® 3696 Softener

Material Notes: Product description: 1-ethyl-2-noroleyl-3- imidazolinium ethyl sulphate at 100% actives.

Application: VARISOFT® 3696 is a cationic hydrophilic softener. It is useful as a coupler and co-emulsifier for cationic formulations. VARISOFT® 3696 can be used to formulate high concentrated dispersions.

Benefits: VARISOFT® 3696 contains no solvent. VARISOFT® 3696 is a highly substantive liquid, a cationic surfactant with weak emulsifying properties. VARISOFT® 3696 is a substantive softener. It is dispersible in water and imparts excellent re-wetting properties to the treated fabrics. It is usable for the production of high concentrated aqueous dispersions. VARISOFT® 3696 is rather yellowing on white fabrics. It imparts ozone-fade resistance to the treated fabrics or garments (jeans).
