Borealis Borlink™ LE0520 Polyethylene Compound, Crosslinkable, Semiconductive
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyethylene (PE)

Material Notes: LE0520 is a Strippable Semi conductive Insulation Shielding for Power Cables. LE0520 is suitable for use in triple extrusion processes. Strip forces in the range of 3-6 kN/m (7-14 lbs/half inch) have been found on cables from steam or dry cure vulcanization lines. Stripping of LE0520 from the surface of the insulation is readily initiated and it continues easily over a wide range of temperatures without tearing. it leaves a clean insulation surface. Specifications ICEA S-94-649; ICEA S-97-682; BS 6622; NF C33-223; UTE C 33-223; NF C33-226; and AEIC CS8-07.
