Material Notes:	BariScan barite products are produced using a proprietary chemical process to enhance the purity of the natural barium sulfate ore. BariScan Elite and BariScan Ultra barite meet and exceed the requirements for barium sulfate of the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) and European Pharmacopeia (EP). Barium Sulfate is Affirmed GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) by the US FDA (21 CFR 175.105, 175.300, 175.380, 175.390, 176.170, 177.1210, 177.1350, 177.1460, 177.2600, 182.99. BariScan barite is manufactured in Chatsworth, GA under stringent quality assurance procedures and Good manufacturing Practices (GMP).
