Material Notes: Features

Chevron RPM Automotive LC Grease EP is a water resistant, extreme pressure, heavy duty chassis, wheel bearing and general purpose lubricating grease. It is manufactured using highly refined, select high viscosity index base oils, and a lithium complex soap. It is red in color and smooth and stringy in texture. Chevron RPM Automotive LC Grease EP NLGI 2 is for use in normal ambient temperatures

Applications

Chevron RPM Automotive LC Grease EP is recommended for:

  • general use in the lubrication of trucks, tractors, and passenger cars. This includes ball joints, universal joints, and all other chassis points, wheel bearings, water pumps, and fifth wheels.
  • boat trailer wheel bearings
  • high temperature disc brake bearing applications

It is approved for the NLGI Certification Mark GC-LB.

Chevron RPM Automotive LC Grease EP is registered with NSF and is acceptable as a lubricant where there is no possibility of food contact (H2) in and around food processing areas. The NSF Nonfood Compounds Registration Program is a continuation of the USDA product approval and listing program, which is based on meeting regulatory requirements of appropriate use, ingredient review and labeling verification.
