Colmant Coated Fabrics VITON (FKM) Coated Polyester Fabric
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Additive/Filler for Polymer

Material Notes: Viton coated polyester fabric combines the following properties: Viton has excellent chemical inertness. It has excellent resistance to high temperatures, chemicals, lubricants, aggressive solvents and fuels, and aging. Viton has good mechanical properties. FKM or Viton ®, are fluorinated synthetic rubbers.
Limitations: contact with hydrofluoric, chlorosulfonic and nitric acids, ketones, amines, ethers and esters. Polyester is a synthetic fiber that ranks first in the world in terms of production. It is a linear polymer whose mass includes a majority (80% minimum) of ester functions and terephthalic acid. Polyester yarn is light and flexible. It is resistant to ultraviolet tradition. Hardly inflammable. It softens around 245°C, and melts around 250°C. It keeps a good shape memory and can be used in the composition of crease-resistant fabrics. In addition, an adequate weaving also allows a good evacuation of heat.

Applications:

  • Industrial fabrics
  • straps
  • tarps
  • tires
  • rope
  • clothing
  • aerospace seals
  • coated fabrics resistant to acids and extreme temperatures
Properties:
  • Heat resistant
  • Acids resistance
  • Non-skid
  • UV resistance
  • Oil storage
  • Ozone Resistance
