Ascend Performance Materials Vydyne® 833B Nylon 66, Extrusion Grade  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Film; Thermoplastic; Nylon (Polyamide PA); Nylon 66 (PA66); Nylon 66, Extruded

Material Notes: 833B is a PA66-based copolymer that features medium melt strength, shear thinning behavior, high tensile strength, ductility, and clarity making it ideal for cast film applications. Having a melt temperature between PA6 and PA66, it is a preferred material of choice compared to physical blends of PA6 and PA66 due to the ability to process at lower temperatures and produce an overall more homogenous film with superior temperature resistance. 833B allows for improved process flexibility due to its slower crystallization rate versus PA66 homopolymers, hence, making it processable in thermoforming or biaxially orienting processes.
