Ensinger TECAST™ Cast Nylon (PA)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Nylon (Polyamide PA)

Material Notes: TECAST™ Cast Nylon reduces downtime in heavy equipment applications. It is a low cost alternative for many non-ferrous machined parts. It has self-lubricating qualities which provide for excellent wear resistance. Because of its density and resiliency, TECAST™ has the ability to absorb high impact without permanent damage. Parts machined from TECAST™ Cast Nylon are lighter in weight than metal components that they replace.

  • Self lubricating properties result in long lasting bearing surfaces
  • Cost saving alternative to non-ferrous machined parts
  • Machines and fabricates easily
  • Resistant to chemical damage
  • High impact strength withstands shock-loading
  • Superior creep resistance
  • Weight and noise reduction

TECAST™ Cast Nylon has a unique combination of strength, wear and corrosion resistance, machinability and lubricity that make it ideal for bearings, gears, rollers, wear plates, pulleys and conveyor wheels where wear resistance is required.
