Borealis Borcoat™ BB108E-1199 White Polypropylene Block Copolymer for Steel Pipe Coating

Material Notes: Borcoat BB108E-1199, a ready made white compound, is a highly molecular weight, low melt flow polypropylene block copolymer. As a top-coat in three component polypropylene systems, Borcoat BB108E-1199 fulfills the requirements in NFA 49-711, DIN 30678, Shell specification (DEP 31.40.30.31) and Pr EN 10286 when used in combination with Borcoat BB125E or Borcoat BB127E and compatible powder epoxy and applied under sound processing conditions.

Borcoat BB108E-1199 is used in steel pipe coating as a top-coat for three component systems, UV stabilized, highly protected against thermal ageing, and designed for continuous use at high temperatures 110°C on-shore and up to 140°C for very specific off-shore projects.
