Colmant Coated Fabrics SBR Coated Cotton Fabric
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Additive/Filler for Polymer

Material Notes: SBR coated cotton fabric combines the following properties: SBR rubber has good properties, some of which are superior to natural rubber (NR). It has a very good resistance to abrasion and a good resistance to tearing.
Limitations: poor resistance to ozone and UV. Poor resistance to oils and solvents. The cotton fabric is a natural fiber of vegetable origin. The cotton thread is resulting from the transformation of the hairs of the Gossypium (or cotton plant). We also designate under the same name the fabric resulting from the weaving of this thread. Cotton is the first textile fiber used in the world despite the advent of synthetic fibers. Cotton fabric is flammable. It decomposes around160°C. Cotton is popular thanks to its characteristics: appearance, lightness, comfort and ease of assembly and transformation.

Applications:

  • Industrial fabrics
  • straps
  • tarps
  • tires
  • rope
  • clothing
  • shoe soles
  • tires
Properties:
  • Fireproofed
  • Abrasion resistance
  • Non-skid
