Material Notes: Impact Copolymer with Nucleating, Antistat Additives

Applications: Pails, crates, and other injection molding applications.

Formolene 2606N is a copolymer of polypropylene designed and formulated for injection molding applications. It contains a unique combination of stabilizers, nucleators and antistats that give it an excellent balance of stiffness and impact strength. Formolene 2606N offers advantages in both processing and physical properties over current polypropylenes used for pails, crates and other injection molding applications.

Meets all requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as specified in 21 CFR 177.1520, covering safe use of polyolefin articles intended for direct food contact.

Specimens were injection molded according to the conditions specified in ASTM D4101.
