Material Notes: Insulating Aggregate raw material base. Hydraulic bond. A very low iron and highly insulating castable offering service up to 1260°C/2300 °F. Recommended for controlled atmosphere heat treatment furnaces where extremely low thermal conductivity is required. Also used as back-up insulation in ammonia production processes.
