Evonik REWPAL® EO 70 Preparation agent
Categories: Fluid

Material Notes: Product description: Oleic acid polyglycol ester

Application: REWOPAL® EO 70 is used as a preparation agent and slickener for the preparation and processing of man made fibers. It is especially recommended as an oiling agent for synthetic fibers, wool and their blends. It can be used as a preparation agent on the backwashing machine or as an oiling agent for spinning and webbing mills. REWOPAL® EO 70 is recommended as dispersing agent for polyester oligomers in the reductive post-treatment bath at polyester dyeing. It can also be used as an emulsifier in mineral oil or ester based winding oils. Finally REWOPAL® EO 70 could be used as an additive in softener formulations for dyed goods to improve the hydrophilicity of the treated fabrics and fibers including mineral wool.

Properties / Benefits: REWOPAL® EO 70 is compatible with anionic, cationic, non-ionic and amphoteric surfactants. It is dispersible in water and could be diluted with demineralised water up to a sprayable 15 % concentrate. REWOPAL® EO 70 is clear soluble in mineral and ester oils and could also be used as emulsifier for these oils. REWOPAL® EO 70 added to softener formulations could increase the rewetting and water absorption of the treated fabric. Depending on the drying conditions REWOPAL® EO 70 could cause yellowing on white goods and needs therefore to be evaluated in the specific formulation and under the specific application conditions.
