Material Notes: Microtherm® Slatted Panel is a panel of microporous insulation, covered in woven glass cloth, that is segmented to wrap easily around pipes or circular ducts.
    Properties
  • Opacified blend of filament reinforced silica
  • Clean segmented panels of high temperature insulation
  • Continuous operation at temperatures up to 1000°C (1832°F)
  • Hydrophobic version also available
  • Clean to use and to cut and shape with no health hazards
  • Non combustible
  • Thermal conductivity only 25% (or less) than that of conventional insulation materials at high temperatures
  • Environmentally safe. Contains no respirable fibrers
    Typical applications
  • Petrochemical and power station applications
  • Circular duct sections
  • Hot fuel cells outer casings
  • Fuel cell B.O.P.
