Covestro Baypreg® F 200 Polyurethane, Glass Mat Reinforced Sandwich
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Polyurethane, TS

Material Notes: Characterization: Baypreg F 200 system is a two component polyurethane system used in compression molding.

Properties / Applications: Baypreg F 200 system is a two component polyurethane system used in compression molding of fiber-reinforced sandwich panels to produce a variety of automotive parts. Some identified applications include door panels, sunshades, spare tire covers, load floors, etc. The Baypreg F 200 system provides lightweight alternatives to ABS, PP, SMC, and wood products while demonstrating very high flexural stiffness and excellent thermal properties. Baypreg F 200 system offers very diverse properties over a wide range of part thicknesses and densities while still providing cost effective substrate parts when combined with reinforcing materials. As with any product, use of the Baypreg F 200 system in a given application must be tested (including field testing, etc.) in advance by the user to determine suitability.
