Panipol Oy DXH Inherently Conductive Polymer
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Additive/Filler for Polymer; Polymer

Material Notes: Panipol DXH composition is conductive masterbatch for melt processing with commodity polymers such as polypropylene. It is based on doped and plasticized Polyaniline. Benefits of Panipol DXH grade are controllable resistance in optimal ESD protection range 10^6 - 10^9 O, low sloughing and limited colorability.

The conductivity of Panipol DXH / matrix polymer blend is tunable for insulators over the whole range of semiconductors. Panipol DXH forms a conductive network structure into matrix polymer instead of acting as a filler. The conductive/dissipative property is permanent and built into the polymer chain.

Panipol DXH has been developed mainly for injection molding applications. Panipol DXH should be used in 8 - 15% ratio with PP Heterophasic copolymer to achieve surface resistance values from 10^6 to 10^10 O, (IEC 61340-5-1). The products made out of Panipol DXH are reusable and recyclable.

Typical applications include injection moulded boxes and bins, etc. giving permanent ESD protection for the various packaging applications.

Typical properties tested from a 12/88 ratio of Panipol DXH/Polypropylene Block copolymer (MFI 3.5)
