Material Notes: LE8280 is a crosslinkable black polyethylene compound, specially designed for bonded semiconductive screen applications. LE8280 is intended for semiconductive applications in XLPE medium and high voltage cables. It can be used as inner and outer semicon for bonded constructions and as inner semicon for strippable constructions. LE8280 meets these applicable requirements when processed using sound extrusion practice and testing procedure: AEIC CS7; AEIC CS8; BS 6622; DIN VDE 0276-263; DIN VDE 0276-620; HD 620 S1; HD 632 S1; ICEA S-93-639; IEC 60502; IEC 60840; ISO 1872-E/BA, KHXY, 23-G200, C40; NF C33-223; NF C33-226; and UTE C 33-223.
