DOW 5E89 Polypropylene Resin is intended for use in stretched tape (raffia) processes, from which the raffia is used to produce woven fabrics for carpet backing, sacking, industrial and geotextile applications.

Braskem acquired Dow's polypropylene business. This specific grade was discontinued priot to the acquisition and so is listed as a discontinued Dow product.
