DuPont Teijin Films Mylar® DS Polyester Film
Categories: Polymer; Film; Thermoplastic; Polyester, TP; Polyester Film

Material Notes: Mylar® DS is a super clear, biaxially oriented, polyester film with differential surface roughness on each side. Its unique composition, consisting of a smooth side opposite a rougher, filled side, allows for a high clarity product with superior handling characteristics. Mylar® DS is suitable for a broad range of applications including high-speed metallization, lamination, and coating. Mylar® DS1 is 1-side treated on the smooth side for adhesion promoting. Mylar® DS1A is 1-side treated on the rough side for adhesion promoting. Mylar® DS2 is treated on both sides for adhesion promoting.
