• When using release fabrics on composite laminates that will be subject to secondary bonding or painting operations, there is a potential for minor transfer onto the component, despite the release solution being fully polymerized. It is therefore recommended that prior to bonding or painted the laminate should be suitably prepared (industry standard method is preparation by slight abrading or sanding the surface followed by cleaning with an approved solvent.)
