Applications
ALATHON L 5845 is a medium molecular weight high density homopolymer for use in blown film applications. Typical applications include paper replacement, coextrusions and laminations.

Regulatory Status
L 5845 meets the requirements of Food and Drug Administration regulation, 21 CFR 177.1520. This regulation allows the use of this olefin polymer in "…articles or components of articles intended for use in contact with food." Specific limitations or conditions of use may apply.

Processing Techniques
Specific recommendations for processing L 5845 can only be made when the processing conditions, equipment and end use are known.

Typical Extrusion Conditions: BUR=2-2.5:1; Frost Line 24";1.0 Mil Film; Melt Temperature- 390-420°F(199-216°C)
