Material Notes:	Composition: Buna® SB 1500 – Schkopau is manufactured by cold polymerization using a rosin acid soap. A discoloring stabilizer is added during the production process. Application: Buna® SB 1500 – Schkopau is a general purpose rubber. It can be processed in all sectors of the tyre and rubber industry. Test Formulation (ASTM D 3189 based on IRB7 black): Polymer - 100.0 parts by mass IRB7 industry reference oil furnace carbon black - 50.0 parts by mass Zinc oxide - 3.0 parts by mass Sulphur - 1.75 parts by mass Stearic acid - 1.0 parts by mass N-tert-butyl-2-benzothiazole sulphenamide (TBBS) - 1.0 parts by mass Synthos acquired the synthetic rubber business from Trinseo in 2021.
