Sandvik 29.9 Welding wire
Categories: Metal; Ferrous Metal; Alloy Steel

Material Notes: Sandvik 29.9 is a filler material suitable for joining dissimilar steels and for overlay welding of carbon and low alloy steels, suited for MIG/MAG, TIG, Plasma arc and submerged arc welding. It gives an ferritic austenitic structure with a high ferrite content. Even with considerable dilution by austenite forming elements such as nickel, the micro structure remains ferritic austenitic and thus highly resistant to weld metal cracks and fissures. Sandvik 29.9 is available as wire and rods.
