BASF Master Builders Solutions ChemRex® CX-943 Squeegee-grade Polyurethane Adhesive  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Adhesive; Thermoset; Polyurethane, TS; Thermoset Polyurethane, Adhesive

Material Notes: CX-943 is a one-component polyurethane-based squeegee-grade, structural adhesive. Its elastomeric properties enable it to move with substrates as it expands and contracts. The patented formula is VOC compliant, and it contains no solvents or water. CX-943 provides excellent initial grab and outstanding bond strength. It is formulated for indoor and outdoor applications.

Typical bonding applications include recycled rubber tiles, rubber tile, and flexible rubber floor matting (sports flooring surfaces). It can also be used to adhere multiple-plies of flexible matting and surfacing materials. CX-943 can also be used over concrete, plywood, particle or chip board, cement and gypsum underlayment, and radiant heat flooring.

The working time is 10-20 minutes. The percent solids is 95% ± 2% given the ASTM D 1259 test method. The freeze-thaw stability has unlimited cycles.
