Material Notes: Impact Copolymer

Applications: Housewares, dairy packaging and stadium cups.

Formolene 6535A is a medium impact, controlled rheology copolymer of polypropylene designed for such applications as housewares, dairy packaging and stadium cups. It is characterized by its easy mold flow, excellent physical property balance and finished product dimensional stability. It contains a unique combination of stabilizers which give it excellent processing and usage performance.

Meets all requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as specified in 21 CFR 177.1520, covering safe use of polyolefin articles intended for direct food contact.

Specimens were injection molded according to the conditions specified in ASTM D4101.
