Lehmann & Voss LUVOCOM® 50/TF/15/BK Polycarbonate with PTFE
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polycarbonate (PC); Polycarbonate, PTFE Filled

Material Notes: Properties/attributes include: Improved friction and wear behavior. Emergency (dry) running property. High dimensionally stable precision parts, even at elevated temperatures and narrow tolerance range. Impact resistance.

Data processing machinery, precision engineering, film and photo industry, sporting and leisure goods, medical engineering. Typical uses include: Body and duty parts in office equipment, gear wheels, grippers, sleeves, sliding elements, switches and plugs.

Processing: During processing, the moisture level should not exceed 0.02%, otherwise molecular degradation may occur. Suitable heat treatment may increase resistance to the formation of stress cracks. The processing notes provided merely represent a recommendation for general use. Due to the large variety of machines, geometries and volumes of parts, etc., it may be necessary to employ different settings according to the specific application.
