Properties / Applications: Dureflex PS8000 exhibits excellent resistance to petrochemicals such as gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation fuel, and many other solvents.These products are recommended for adhesion to fabrics as a protective and adhesive layer, or as “stand alone ” films in demanding elastic applications. They also have good air retention properties, and therefore can be used in inflatable applications. With its relatively higher durometer and melt range, this product is ideally suited for applications that demand higher temperature resistance than typical TPUs, and/or other applications which require higher modulus. If your application will experience continuous exposure to water and high humidity environments, consider using Dureflex brand polyether polyurethane film and sheet grades. As with any product, use of Dureflex PS8000 in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.
