Thermal Ceramics FireMaster Firecrete 85
Categories: Ceramic; Ceramic Matrix Composite

Material Notes: Firecrete 85 is used on fire training facility wall and ceiling constructions. It is a high-strength insulating refractory castable which offers superior thermal shock resistance and spall resistance when exposed to repeated hose stream conditions at high temperatures. This performance is achieved by the incorporation of RFT (Rapid Fire Technology) and stainless steel fibers.

Features:

  • Superior thermal shock resistance, which provides spall resistance
  • Lightweight
  • Low thermal conductivity
  • High strength
  • Abrasion resistance
