Ensinger PEI

LyondellBasell Petrothene® GA601032 Linear Low Density Polyethylene
Categories: Polymer; Film; Thermoplastic; Polyethylene (PE); Linear Low Density (LLDPE); Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE), Injection Molded

Material Notes: Applications
PETROTHENE® GA 601 series are pelletized, linear low density polyethylenes for applications requiring maximum strength and toughness. These products offer excellent additive homogeneity, require no transfer equipment modifications, and facilitate clean and safe handling. Applications include heavy duty shipping sacks, prime liners, commercial and industrial packaging, as well as food and consumer packaging.

Processing Techniques
Recommended processing conditions for the GA 601 series are a 400°-450°F melt temperature and a 1.5-3.01:1 blow-up ratio. Using proper techniques, this product can readily be drawn below 0.9 mil at optimum production rates. Specific recommendations for type of resin and extrusion conditions can be made only when the end use, required properties and processing equipment are known.

Regulatory Status
GA 601 series resins meet the requirements of the Food and Drug

This product is from the former Equistar product line.
