ITW Spraycore® SC 4055 Mold Building Compound

Material Notes: SC 4055 is a ceramic compounded vinyl ester/polyester resin blend that was formulated for the production of fiberglass molds. This product will enhance the cosmetic appearance, rigidity and speed of production of fiberglass reinforced molds. MEEK is not included. Preferred red dye catalyst: HP-90, DHD-9, MEEK 925. Product features: minimizes fiberglass print through in the production of fiberglass molds, reduces the amount of entrapped air behind the gel coat, helps to reduce the transfer of the fiberglass pattern onto the tooling gel coat, helps make parts stronger and more rigid. Product benefits: can be used as a core and a tooling gel coat, helps speed up production due to fast cure times and low shrinkage, offers user friendly application.
