Ensinger PEI

ChevronTexaco Novatex® EP NLGI Grade 2
Categories: Fluid; Lubricant; Calcium Gellant

Material Notes: Texaco Novatex EP are water resistant, extreme pressure greases. They are manufactured using highly refined, select high viscosity index base oils, a calcium soap, and a specifically selected additive package containing extreme pressure additives as well as corrosion and rust inhibitors.

Typical test data are average values only. Minor variations which do not affect product performance are to be expected in normal manufacturing.

Notes:

  1. Minimum operating temperature is the lowest temperature at which a grease, already in place, could be expected to provide lubrication. Most greases cannot be pumped at these minimum temperatures.
  2. Maximum operating temperature is the highest temperature at which the grease could be used with frequent (daily) relubrication.
  3. Determined on mineral oil extracted by vacuum filtration.

CPS Number: 222905; MSDS Number: 9007
