Rulon Bearings

AdvanSix Aegis® OX High Barrier Nylon  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Film; Thermoplastic; Nylon (Polyamide PA)

Material Notes: Description: Aegis OX is an oxygen-scavenging nylon. Oxygen barrier is comparable to a glass bottle with metal crown closure. In addition Aegis OX provides CO2 barrier and possesses glass-like clarity. Because the recommended processing temperature of Aegis OX is similar to PET's, Aegis OX is well suited to the PET co-injection process and provides excellent adhesion to PET. Aegis OX is also delamination resistant and recyclable.

Former Honeywell product; AdvanSix is a spin-off of Honeywell.
