Designed for reducing heat losses from plastic and zinc die cast molds with operating temperatures up to 550º F. Its thermal insulating capability provides faster startups and increased operating efficiency while its high strength provides long service life. It is asbestos-free and rugged to withstand mechanical abuse during installation. It is easily cut and machined with standard metal working equipment. Diamond cutting tools are recommended for long life.
