EDM-2® graphite is an Ultrafine graphite with high strength and good wear characteristics. Recommended for use on detailed electrodes where speed, fine finish, and resistance to wear are desired. Features: Average particle size of less than 5 microns provide high strength and is resistant to damage. Developed for a balance of speed and fine finish creates precise parts without sacrificing productivity. High resistance to wear minimizes replacement needs and improves cost of ownership. Available for order as billets, semi-finished rods, blocks, and plates. Applications: Fine detailed electrodes. Minimum tapered cavities. Blind cavity work. IC Molds. Aerospace applications.
