Caplinq LINQTAPE™ PIT1N-CR 1 mil high temperature corona resistant polyimide film
Categories: Polymer; Adhesive; Thermoset; Polyimide, TS; Polyimide, Thermoset Film

Material Notes: LINQTAPE™PIT1N-CR Series is a high performance, high-temperature resistant polyimide film designed specifically to with stand the damaging effect of Corona. It isused in transformers, electrical rotating machines, traction motors, generators, high-temperature or high voltage coils and other insulation application where corona is a concern. LINQTAPE™PIT1N-CR Series polyimide film not only maintains its excellent physical, electrical, thermal, mechanical, and chemical properties, but also has good corona resistance and thermal conductivity. At a voltage stress of 20KV/mm (500V/mil), LINQTAPE™ PIT1N-CR has a life endurance of many hundreds of times the standard PIT1N film. LINQTAPE™PIT1N-CR Series Film comes in 33meter (36yard) length rolls of varying widths. The base polyimide film (backing) thickness is 1mil (25.4±2µm) thick. Custom thicknesses are available upon request.

Applications:

  • Traction motors
  • Transformers
  • Generators
  • Electrical rotating machines
  • Insulating magnet wire
  • Insulating circuit boards and coils
  • Insulating applications where corona is a concern
