Braskem FG31D LLDPE Blown Film Extrusion Polyethylene Copolymer  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Film; Thermoplastic; Polyethylene (PE); Linear Low Density (LLDPE); Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE), Film Grade; LLDPE/Butene, Film

Material Notes: The FG31D resin is a linear low-density polyethylene, copolymer of butene-1, produced by the solution process for blow film extrusion in blends with polyethylene. It has excellent mechanical properties and contains antiblock, slip, and antioxidant additives. Its applications include polyethylene blends for general purpose use and automatic packaging of solids and liquids. The FG31D resin can be processed with polyethylene on conventional extruders with a maximum ratio of 30%. The best results are obtained with polyethylenes of low melt index. The recommended temperature profile for blends with LDPE is slightly higher than those ones for the conventional LDPE (10 to 20ºC). Recommended blow up ratio: 1.8 to 3.0:1.
