Total Finathene® 3802 HDPE, blow molding, cable  (Unverified Data**)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyethylene (PE); High Density (HDPE); High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Blow Molding Grade

Material Notes: FINATHENE® 3802 is a polyethylene copolymer based on C6 hexene as co-monomer and is produced by a continuous low-pressure slurry polymerization process.

FINATHENE® 3802 has been especially developed for the manufacturing of blow molded articles offering a good flexibility. This grade is particularly appropriate for the production of small containers as well as for metallic drum liners.

FINATHENE® 3802 is characterized by its excellent resistance to crack formation, low dielectric constant, high hardness and excellent abrasion resistance.

FINATHENE® 3802 contains additives to ensure outstanding stability against degradation during processing and long-term product life.

FINATHENE® 3802 is best processed at temperatures between 180 and 220°C.

Information provided provided by Total Petrochemicals.

Total Petrochemicals now includes former Fina and Atofina plastics product lines.
