Dow Elvaloy® 2112 AC Ethylene and 12% Ethyl Acrylate Copolymer
Categories: Polymer; Film; Thermoplastic

Material Notes: Elvaloy® 2112 AC is intended for profile and tube extrusion. Its good chemical resistance, low temperature toughness and good flex life make it outstanding for tubing is various applications. The material also is recommended for contour extrusion, as well as for blow molding of toys, gaskets and other parts requiring flexibility, stress cracking resistance and low temperature toughness. Elvaloy® 2112 AC also can be used in film applications where softness and flexibility are needed.

Elvaloy® 2112 AC has a wide processing latitude in molding and extrusion equipment. EEA is very heat stable and does not give corrosive decomposition products during processing, even at the upper limit of the recommended temperature range.

Information provided by DuPont.

This former DuPont product line is now a Dow product line.
