Material Notes: Eastman Cristal™ Renew DN500MR-50 copolyester is a high flow product designed and engineered for many different applications. Cristal™ Renew DN500MR-50 exhibits excellent color and clarity for use in prestige cosmetic applications. In addition, it has excellent mechanical performance making it well-suited copolyester for thin wall caps, jars or compact cases with improved gate aesthetics. Other outstanding features are excellent chemical resistance, high gloss, and improvements in processing such as low filling pressure and lower scrap rates. Cristal™ Renew DN500MR-50 contains a mold release for improved demolding performance. Under existing United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, DN500MR-50 may be used in food contact articles which comply with the specifications and conditions of use in 21 CFR 177.1240. The product is certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 51.Eastman Renew polymers have been certified by International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC), a global, independent agency for tracking sustainable content in a variety of industries. Renew polymers are produced with ISCC certified circular content by mass balance allocation.
