Material Notes:	Product description: TEGOPREN® 5851 is a 100 % active defoamer based on organo-modified siloxanes. Application: TEGOPREN® 5851 is used as an antifoam in multifunctional diesel fuel additive packages. TEGOPREN® 5851 is used for formulating stable, low foaming neat metal working fluids (MWF). TEGOPREN® 5851 is further used as lubricant in textile auxiliary formulation. TEGOPREN® 5851 can also be used in other lubricating oils (e.g. Transmission fluids and Industrial fluids). TEGOPREN® 5851 can either be blended directly into the oil or diesel fuel or used as part of an additive package. Benefits: TEGOPREN® 5851 provides good foam knock down and hold down properties. TEGOPREN® 5851 is free of silicone oils. Therefore, it has no adverse effect on the finishing process (painting / electroplating etc.) of the treated parts. TEGOPREN® 5851 has no negative impact on air release properties of lubricating oils. TEGOPREN® 5851 is highly compatible. In textile application TEGOPREN® 5851 reduces fiber and fiber metal friction in spin finish application. Information provided by Evonik
