EMS-Grivory Grivory® TR55 LX Transparent Nylon 12, Dry As Molded  (Unverified Data**)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Nylon (Polyamide PA); Nylon 12 (PA12)

Material Notes: Grilamid TR 55 LX is a modified grade of Grilamid TR 55, providing high practical toughness and resistance to chemicals such as alcohol and cleaning agents. Light and heat stabilized, Grilamid TR 55 LX offers excellent retention of properties after prolonged exposure to outdoor weathering and high temperatures. It also offers stress-cracking resistance, dimensional stability and mechanical properties virtually independent of environmental humidity. Originally developed for eyeglass frames (both safety and fashion types), Grilamid TR 55 LX may be considered for many other applications in which alcohol resistance, transparency and toughness are desired.

Grilamid TR 55 LX contains no plasticiser, resists cosmetic chemicals and perspiration, does not irritate the skin and can enhance design and performance of personal care products. Industrial applications include auto parts, sight glasses and extruded tubing, sheet and profiles.
