Description: HydroArmor® 7720 is a latex coating that prevents water from wicking into boat flooring, bus flooring and recreational vehicle walls. HydroArmor® 7720 can be brushed or rolled onto floor boards, the cut edges of floor boards, wall edges and to window and wheel openings. The coating dries to form a waterproof seal that prevents moisture from wicking into AB marine wood flooring, plywood, soft and hardwood, bead board and the bond lines between the materials used in the construction of the RV walls. Our lab tests of HydroArmor® show this material is extremely durable under even the worst service conditions. Several days at 250°F (121°C) and immersion in acidic and caustic solutions did not affect dried coats of this material. Coats did not lose adhesion or crack when test panels were bent at -30°F (-34°C). After weeks of exterior exposure cycling, the HydroArmor® coatings remained intact and there was noadhesion loss. HydroArmor® products dry quickly at ambient temperatures. HydroArmor® is as safe to use and as easy to clean up as latex house paint. HydroArmor® 7720 provides better protection than any of the competitive prodects we’ve tested while avoiding the environmental and safety problems inherent in many such coatings. Application: As with any coating, mix product thoroughly before use. All loose dirt and dust should be removed from the surface to be coated before application. HydroArmor® 7720 is normally applied to all floor surfaces and edges and to wall edges with a roller or brush. HydroArmor® resists water wash-off after air drying 30 minutes at 45% -55% relative humidity. If not baked, it dries through in 24 hours or less (drying is slowed by high humidity and poor air circulation). Until HydroArmor ® dries, overspray can be removed and equipment can be cleaned with water. Dried material can be removed with methyl ethyl ketone. Information provided by H.B. Fuller Company |
