| Product highlights: BLACK PEARLS® 630 specialty carbon black is a new product offering a balance of jetness and bluetone for use in a broad range of polymers for general purpose plastics applications. It is designed to offer additional color without sacrificing ease-of-dispersion characteristics of similar carbon blacks such as ELFTEX®570 carbon black (see Figure 1). Key applications: BLACK PEARLS 630 specialty carbon black is suitable for use in general purpose moldings, such as for consumer goods, electronic materials and automotive parts. It is also suitable for use in polyester or polypropylene staple fibers, such as those used in carpets. Performance features: BLACK PEARLS 630 specialty carbon black is designed to improve processability through higher loadings of carbon black in masterbatch and lower viscosity (as measured by MFI) without sacrificing color performance.
